Lots of historical signs along the Weston, MO trail.

Boy, Lewis and Clark seemed to travel everywhere!
More testing of the Surly Wednesday E-Bike conversion.  The Weston, MO trail has a rough surface with some slight inclines.  The Wednesday Big Nate 3.8 tires just roll over the rough surface. The tires a noisy on any pavement, but on trails that noise seems to go away.  The 8 miles of riding on the trail was achieved mostly in the level one Bafang setting.

        • 10% battery limit,
        • 10% Motor speed limit,
        • 30km/h speed limit
        • middle sprockets of cassette gearing
        • 42t Chainring & middle sprockets of the 34/22 10sp cassette
Average speed of 11.9 mph seemed good for the trail but maybe is was a little faster than I normally would want to ride it.  But as I get use to the bike, that speed might be fine.  There were a few times I selected Level 0, on the flat part of the trail and rode with no assistance.

It is still a learning experience on the Surly Wednesday.  I only have 100 miles on it thus far...
